Featured in the film, co-founder and Brewmaster, Todd Boera of Fonta Flora Brewery. Both have been avid supporters of TACF and the mission to restore the American chestnut as part of their mission to several environmental conservation efforts both in practice and in offerings. It uses locally foraged and sourced ingredients to take beer back to its roots. It’s a mission that brews each fall in their seasonal offering, “Bread Beer” using locally grown and house-roasted chestnuts. Although made with non-American chestnut, the the aim is to raise awareness, educate and tell the story of the American chestnut. Fonta Flora focuses on making sustainable products filled with culture from our very own community.
