Brewed with water from our wells along with 85% local ingredients

Mashed with a beefed up blend of local barley malt along with a touch of flaked oats and dextrin malt for a silky and smooth body. Hopped intensely, utilizing some of our exciting new methods, with a choice blend el dorado, mosaic and motueka. Fermented fully for a crushingly dry finish, especially for a beefier IPA. Layered perfectly, this blend of stone fruit and tropical bursting hops ride the taste waves all the way through, providing a balanced bitterness and all the hop flavor to the very bottom of yer ‘buds.

Perhaps our favorite style, the west coast-style double IPA, from a few particular west coast breweries were the early whales in the craft beer biz. Paying homage to our breweries namesake in this illustration, it also highlights the number of human-made lakes, created for hydroelectric power, that exist in Appalachia.
