Appalachian Wild Ale w/ Merlot Grapes

Appalachian Wild Ale brewed with local barley from Riverbend Malt House and local raw wheat from Red Tail Grains. Boiled with burlap-aged hops. Fermented with our mixed house cultures in stainless steel. Transferred into oak for months of aging. Transferred out of oak onto a massive amount of local merlot grapes from the 2017 grape harvest courtesy of our friends at Jones von Drehle. Fermented and aged on the merlot grapes  (skins and all) for 3 months and transferred back into freshly dumped red wine barrels. Matured in the wine barrels for additional maturation. Conditioned naturally inside the bottle.
